The best time to shoot at Upper Pierce Reservoir is truly around 7am—there’s something so magical about the way the sunrise gently spills over the landscape. The light is soft, golden, and absolutely beautiful.

I had the chance to photograph a maternity session there recently, and it felt incredibly special. Maternity shoots always hold a deeper meaning for me—it’s often one of the last quiet, intimate moments a couple shares before their baby arrives. I always aim to help my clients truly connect during the session, to feel each other’s presence, love, and excitement for what’s to come.
